The 2GIG Encrypted Smoke/Heat/Freeze Sensor offers three levels of protection in one device, monitoring for smoke, dangerous heat, and freezing conditions. Meeting the latest UL standards, it uses an optical detection chamber designed to better recognize smoke from modern synthetic sources. Its advanced algorithms reduce nuisance alarms caused by cooking while maintaining sensitivity to genuine threats. The sensor also monitors rapid temperature increases and extreme highs or lows, providing additional layers of awareness.
