Nice Apollo 1050 Control Board Troubleshooting Tips

Is your apollo swing or slide gate system not working quite right? It's possible that some minor issues might've occurred during setup, luckily if you have the Apollo 1050i Universal Smart Control Board there's some easy fixes to get your gate opener up and running in just a few short minutes. Issue	Possible Solution
Operator will not Power On / Power LED is OFF	Check that power to the circuit board is turned ON Check terminal block wiring for loose or broken wires If voltage measures OK, check the terminal block Check the fuses (may be both AC and DC fuses in installation)
Gate opens but will not close.	Check the input LEDs. Any ON will hold the gate open and indicates a problem with a keying device Check the external safety devices. Any activated safety devices will hold the gate open and may indicate a problem with the safety device Check the loop detectors. Any activated safety devices can hold the gate open and may indicate a problem with the loop detector or ground loop
Battery backup system will not open gate upon AC power outage.	Check batteries for proper voltage. Replace if necessary Check battery connections to controller
Hard Shutdown (two back-to-back obstructions) LED blinking, Buzzer sounds for 5 minutes.	Clear any obstructions from the path of the gate, then Press STOP/CLEAR button on controller to clear the Hard Shutdown
Gate opens by itself.	Check accessory inputs and clear them as necessary
Gate opens a short distance, then stops and reverses	Check the UL/Edge input on the gate controller Adjust Force Settings
